We use the following programs separately or in conjunction with each other to create an individual program for each student.
Our literacy programs are based on the programs developed by Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes®*.
Lindamood Phoneme Sequencing® Program for Reading, Spelling, and Speech (LiPS®)
A program designed to improve phonological processing through developing the perception of how sounds are produced in speech as a tool for independence in word attack, phonetic spelling, reading accuracy, and speech pronunciation.
Seeing Stars®: Symbol Imagery for Phonemic Awareness, Sight Words, and Spelling Program (SI)
A program that develops symbol imagery skills by visualizing the letters in words in order to strengthen visual processing, thereby improving phonemic awareness, word recognition, spelling accuracy, reading rate, and contextual fluency.
Visualizing and Verbalizing® Program for Cognitive Development, Comprehension, and Thinking
A program designed to improve concept imagery, or the ability to turn language into mental images, which improves reading comprehension, oral language expression, listening comprehension, written language skills, vocabulary development, reading fluency and critical thinking.
Language Development Program
A program designed to develop a foundation for expressive and receptive oral language, as well as concept imagery.
A program designed to conquer the fear of writing and improve writing skills by setting a customized procedure of steps to follow.
